Apply for the 2025 Business Improvement Grant

Downtown Bellefonte Inc. is now accepting applications for the 2025 Business Improvement Grant Program—a funding opportunity designed to help businesses in the Bellefonte area grow, improve, and better serve our community.

Each year, Downtown Bellefonte Inc. awards two $2,500 grants:
• One to a new business (in operation less than 12 months)
• One to an established business (in operation more than 12 months)

Whether you're planning a storefront upgrade, adding outdoor seating, improving accessibility, or creating a more inviting space—this grant helps make those goals possible. Projects with a clear local impact are strongly encouraged, and businesses are required to match at least 50% of project costs.

Important Dates

– Applications due: June 30, 2025
– Award notifications: July 31, 2025
– Projects must be completed within one year of funding

This grant is open to any business located in the Greater Bellefonte Region, including the Borough of Bellefonte and neighboring municipalities.
